Hi, I am Christina Whelan Chabot, here is a little snapshot of me.
I am a mom of three and we currently live on our farm with our animals just outside of Toronto, Ontario. My very favourite things are being outside, feeling the wind in my hair and walking barefoot.
I am super passionate about moving, health and wellness. Although my love of this truly began when I wrote my first speech in grade 4 on health, professionally, it began in 1999 with my undergrad in Physical Education and Health, which lead to a Masters in Exercise Physiology at U of Toronto.
Being a forever student and lover of learning, I have since gone on to train in contemporary Pilates (Body Harmonics) and I received a full classical Pilates certification with Dianne Miller at what is now called the Vancouver Pilates Center in 2010.
I completed Franklin Method® Level 1 in 2015, 'Oov® Level 1 in 2019,Pregnancy, Postpartum Corrective Exercise in 2021 and ELDOA Level 1 in 2022. And to be honest, I can't wait to see this list expand and grow in the years to come.

PREGNANCY + POSTPARTUM - Women who are pregnant and/or postpartum require a special protocol to help them regain core control and to work to support them through pregnancy and/or help them recover. The philosophy we take is that once postpartum, always postpartum. Women often do not get the care they need in the aftermath of birth, which is why Christina chose to specialize in this area.
Pilates is our foundation, which consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes postural alignment, core strength + muscle balance. Teachings from the following four disciplines are also included

CAN I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
This membership is so full of value that I can't actually see you wanting to cancel, but we know that life happens. : ) This is a subscription membership, meaning that it will automatically renew monthly. So, anytime you want to cancel, please let us know BEFORE your next payment and we can easily remove you from the membership.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE ONLINE STUDIO?
When you make a payment, you will get an email with an inviitation to create an account with Connecteam. You will get access soon after creating an account. You can access the content on your computer and on the super handy Connecteam app on your mobile device, so you can bring it with you anywhere you go.
HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I DEDICATE TO THIS?
As much time as you like. I recommend doing Pilates at least twice per week. However, the more you do the better. There are classes of different durations, so on those off days when we aren't doing a live class, you can do a 10, 20 or 45 minute class from the library.Ultimately, it is all up to you, your schedule and lifestyle.
I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PILATES
Perfect! I have set this up so that you can start with the foundations (breathing, posture, pelvic floor and squatting) and then move to the beginner classes. I recommend following the order of these classes because they build on each other. You will be strong and capable enough in no time.
WHEN ARE THE LIVE CLASSES + HOW DO I ACCESS THEM?
Mondays in the Facebook Group at 10:30 am EST, so make sure to join the group after you register.
Tuesdays and Thursdays via Zoom at 7:00 pm EST. A link to the class will be emailed to you one hour before class. The class will be uploaded.
